Established in 2011, the Neo-Literates and Childrens Literature Materials Bank (NLCLMB) is a project of the Central Institute of Indian Languages with the aim of providing content for children of different langauges and mother tongues. The project has so far created and distributed content meant for young kids in 28 scheduled and non-scheduled languages of India.
The project currently has a repository of 371 stories which have been translated into different languages provided to the state governments as per their request.
