The Stinking Den

A lion used to kill animals and bring the dead bodies to his den. He ate most of the flesh and left the remains in his den. As the days passed, the den started to stink. Once, a bear visited the lion in his den and complained about the smell. Hearing this, the lion killed the bear. One day, a fox came to the lion's den. The lion asked him if his den was stinking. The cunning fox replied he could not smell anything because of the cold. In this way, the clever fox escaped from a difficult situation.
