The Mice that ate iron

A merchant named Naduk leaves his iron balance beam with his neighbour Lakshman, but when he returns, Lakshman falsely claims that mice ate it. Naduk, instead of getting angry, takes Lakshman's son to a cave, claiming a hawk took him. The wise king sees through Lakshman's lies and orders the return of both the balance beam and the boy.
